Responsible for controlling vehicle idle

This valve is a common source for idle issues. Over time it gets clogged up with debris and dust which makes the valve function improperly. Sometimes the valves can be cleaned but more often replacement will be required.

Note: It is important to replace the grommet when this part is removed from the intake manifold:
