Measures the level of the oil inside the oil pan, includes sealing o-ring

This sensor is mounted to the oil pan and is responsible for monitoring and measuring oil level in the sump. A failed oil level sensor can cause a lights to illuminate on your dash. In addition to monitoring the oil level this sensor is also responsible for monitoring oil temperature and in some cases oil condition.

When installing a new oil level sensor you will also need to replace the 3 hex bolts as they are one time use only. Also order 3x 07119905400. Torque the replacement bolts to 8.5Nm of torque or 6.3 ft lbs.
