Updated hydraulic tensioner from BMW which replaced the older style mechanical tensioner

This is a complete hydraulic tensioner assembly. It includes the damper and pivot arm. This is the primary tensioner that is responsible for maintaining constant tension on the main accessory belt which drives your alternator, water pump, and power steering pump.

Note: Due to confusion and misinformation about how the different style tensioners fit on the oil filter housing, we have provided the below information to help clarify how these tensioners are mounted to the oil filter housing. They can be mounted interchangeably but require different hardware if switching from one to another. For the hydraulic tensioner, x1 p/n 07119904532 (M8x105), x1 p/n 07119904533 (M8x50), and x1 p/n 07119906650 (M8x35) bolts (these bolts are not included in this kit) are required.
